Five Year Jive is a a place to celebrate New Orleans on the five year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.  It’s a community built to cultivate POSITIVE energy around New Orleans in the midst of countless negative stories which portray New Orleans as a helpless in pitiful place.

Five Year Jive is an online community of passionate people who want to change the way that the world looks at the Crescent City five years after Hurricane Katrina.  

While we still have a ways to go, New Orleans has made tremendous progress in recovery since Hurricane Katrina.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 for Desire Street Ministries in support of their continued rebuilding efforts in the Crescent City.
